[Updated February 23, 2021] Originally posted in February, 2009 and updated as needed. Since then, not enough conservative Americans followed the advice here to organize and unite politically inside the Republican Party and, thus, we allowed Barack Hussein Obama to be re-elected.  And we failed to re-elect Donald J. Trump.

In a nutshell, this is what every conservative — including you, dear reader — needs to do ASAP:

  1. Contact your county Republican Party Committee, find out when and where it or your local district Party Committee meets (terminology varies from state to state), and attend the meeting. If your county committee is not listed at State Information, do this internet search: [your county name] county Republican committee. In CT and MA, search on the name of your city or town instead of your county name.)
  2. Introduce yourself. Be friendly, polite, and low key.  The current officers may be wary of outsiders.    Ask if a vacant precinct committeeman position exists for your precinct and volunteer to be appointed to fill it.  If no vacancy currently exists (extremely unlikely), volunteer to be a “helper” for the existing precinct committeemen.
  3. Ask for a copy of the precinct committeeman handbook of your state party committee and study it and learn how to run for precinct committeeman in the next election for these positions.

What is a Precinct Committeeman?

Precinct committeemen are today’s political Minutemen.  Can you at least give this a try?  I guarantee you’ll find the experience very interesting and rewarding and you’ll meet a lot of interesting Republicans. And take along with you every conservative you know.  Precinct committeemen are the “elite” of the political parties – parties do not exist without them and fewer than one in one hundred political party members can be a voting member of the party. So, what’s a precinct committeeman? Here’s a two-minute video explanation:

A little bit of background.  Richard Viguerie wrote a book, TAKEOVER: The 100-Year War For the Soul of the GOP and How Conservatives can Finally Win It, that embraced The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy as the key blueprint for having conservatives “take back” our Republican Party. In 2013, Mr. Viguerie asked for ideas on how best conservatives could takeover the Republican Party.  He would award a $10,000 prize for the best ideas and plans for a conservative takeover of the Republican Party.  I was a co-winner of the prize, and incorporated into my first ebook, Taking Back Your Government:  The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy. You can view the ebook here.  Unfortunately, over President Trump’s four years in office, the percentage of filled precinct committeeman slots of the Republican Party remained stagnant.   Are YOU ready, now, finally, to get into the real ball game of politics and unite and organize politically where you live for real political action?

The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy, outlined below, entails a tried-and-true, peaceful, Constitutional, ballot box solution to our present political predicament. The procedures and system for this solution have been in existence for decades. Obama used them.

Do Not Waste Your Time.

This Strategy will require you to attend a Republican Party monthly meeting where you live and spend a few hours before the primary and general election either walking your precinct or making Get Out The Vote (“GOTV”) phone calls on behalf of a candidate. If you can’t commit to a few hours a year to save your liberties, don’t read on, as this Strategy is not for you. If the future of your country is worth a few hours a month outside your comfort zone, then please read on. The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy provides a template for good, decent, conservative Americans to unite and organize politically to help Get Out The Vote (“GOTV”) for the best conservative candidates in the all-important, traditionally-very-low turn out primary elections and to change the Republican Party from a half-strength, ideologically-split, ineffective political party into a full-strength, solidly conservative GOTV colossus.

[This Strategy works. Since 2009, through aggressive recruiting of conservatives at tea party and other grass roots conservative groups, in person and at their web sites, the Maricopa County Republican Committee has grown from 1,989 precinct committeemen members to over 3,550 in March, 2012. You can read a short article about it here. As of Nov., 2012, over 52% of our allotted PC slots filled, up from 31.8% in 2008. But, thereafter, in 2020, we dipped back down to just over 2,900 slots being filled–only about 36% of the total available slots were filled.]

Obama Used The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy To Defeat Billary.

Need evidence that the Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy can work? Obama and his minions used this Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy to defeat Hillary and Bill Clinton and the Democrat Party establishment in the Democrat Party presidential primaries. Obama and his backers came out of nowhere to defeat the complacent “powers that be” of the Democrat Party. You don’t have to believe me – see the evidence with your own eyes. Search YouTube using the search words obama precinct captain. That search will bring back many videos of brand new Democrat Party precinct committeemen (also referred to in some states as precinct captains) explaining how they were recruited into the Democrat Party’s precinct committeeman ranks and how important their efforts will be for Obama to win the nomination.

This strategy has already worked in 2009 in Nevada and Minnesota. And Utah grass roots conservatives have united there to invade the Republican Party to vote in the upcoming 2009 Party primary elections at the GOP state convention.

We need more than feel-good Tea Parties. Do not get me wrong; the Tea Parties are great for networking and for physically demonstrating our numbers and wrath to the existing officeholders. The April 15, 2009 Tea Parties affected Obama and his minions. They first tried to ignore them. After the Tea Parties received media coverage, Obama and those who write his teleprompter scripts started to bad-mouth them. Obama’s friends in the mainstream media ridiculed the Tea Partiers. But, we need more than rallies and choir-preaching on internet blogs and web sites. Let’s face it – no Tea Party on April 15, 2009, had the numbers that Obama had at many of his rallies. Not one of those Tea Parties would have even filled up half of a Major League ball park. Those are the facts. With Twitter and Facebook, etc., those numbers increased, as we saw on 9.12.2009 in Washington, DC and around the country. But, here’s the bottom line: those tea parties and the rallies did not stop the Congress from passing, and Obama signing into law, Obamacare and all the other horrible socialistic, wasteful, crony-helping laws and regulations. The key is to organize and unite politically, locally, to elect better people, and that starts with becoming precinct committeemen where we live.

Why did Mitt Romney lose? His campaign failed to develop a GOTV “ground game” at the precinct level. The Strategy does this.

A Few Hours A Month Is All It Takes — And It’s Easy.

Can you carve into your schedule a couple of hours a month to spend on a weeknight and, perhaps, on a Saturday, to take our country back? Is your liberty, and your children’s, not worth at least that?

Where do the candidates on our primary ballots come from? An estimated 95 per cent of the candidates of the Republican and Democrat parties who win the primary election are those who are endorsed by the leadership of those parties.

Do You Know Who Elects The Party Leaders? Did You Elect Them?

Who elects the leadership of the parties? Do you know? Are you a registered Republican? Guess what? As a “mere” registered Republican voter, without more, you did not have a vote in the election of the present leadership of the Republican Party. Sorry, but those are the facts.

Only elected precinct committeemen get to vote for the leadership of the Party. Do I yet have your attention? Ponder the fact that only elected precinct committeemen get to elect the Party leadership. Don’t you want to have a vote in those elections? Getting into position to have that right is easy.

About 3,141 counties exist in the United States. Almost all have a county party organization. And, those county organizations almost always endorse candidates in the party primaries. And, usually, those party-endorsed candidates win. Tired of the kind of Republican In Name Only Republicans who are winning the primaries? Then do something real and become a Republican Party precinct committeeman! Guess what? About half of the Republican Party precinct committeeman slots, nationwide, are unfilled! There’s about 400,000 slots nationwide and about 200,000 of those slots are vacant. (The preceding sentence was written in about 2011, and those numbers really haven’t change, it now being February 2019.)  If conservatives filled up all the empty slots they would OWN the Party. Precinct Committeemen are the Party.

Do I yet have your attention? Has the light bulb above your head clicked on yet? In some counties, like the one where I reside, Maricopa County, Arizona, within which Phoenix sits, TWO-THIRDS of the precinct committeeman slots in the Republican Party sat unfilled on Election Day, 2008. [Well, it’s now February, 2019, and while we went up to 52 per cent strength in 2012, we are not back down to about 33 per cent.]

Spend a few moments and picture this in your mind’s eye: thousands of conservatives flock into the Republican Party and join it as precinct committeemen. And, in the next internal party elections, these conservatives (you, me and others) elect new, conservative leadership. (Or, instead, these same conservatives (me, excepted) sit behind their computer screens and put first on their priority list, instead of second, writing that next, great blog post that is going to, somehow, save the republic.)

Exit your mind’s eye. Back to reality. The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy works! I have seen it work first hand. Click on the Nevada and Utah links here for more proof. I was, just by chance, part of achieving this kind of outcome in my legislative district in the 2008 internal party elections. Somewhat by design, somewhat by chance (I was one of those “newbies” who just, by chance, came into the Party PC ranks), conservatives, in my legislative district, defeated the old-guard, moderate Republican candidates by electing conservatives to the leadership positions. [This happened again in 2010 when we had even more conservatives in the PC ranks.] Same thing happened at the county and state levels. (Don’t know what a legislative district is? Hang in there – an explanation follows.) But the margins were razor-thin. And since then, we just elected 5 conservatives to the county Executive Guidance Council’s five “at large” positions. With all the new conservative precinct committeemen we recruited, those 5 won over 80 per cent of the vote on the first ballot. One long-time John McCain moderate got less than six per cent of the vote. The conservatives won because about a thousand conservatives left their keyboards for a couple of hours each month and got into the REAL political ball game. So, I and others continue to try to recruit more conservatives into the precinct committeeman ranks. We try to get people off the sidelines and into the actual, real ball game. Into the rough-and-tumble hard work of actually showing up – God forbid – at a Republican Party legislative district meeting once a month. Instead of typing away to the conservative choir on the internet. Egads! Oh, the misery!

Every state is divided up into legislative districts from which your state assembly and senate candidates are elected. Each legislative district is divided up into precincts. Precincts generally, in a city, are about the size of five or ten city blocks, depending upon the population density of the city. (My precinct, in suburban Tempe, Arizona, is about a half mile on each side.) Each precinct is allowed a number of precinct committeemen. For example, in Arizona, each party is allowed one precinct committeeman, plus an additional one for each 125 registered voters of that party as of March 1 of the general election year. (Currently, my precinct is allowed to have 11 precinct committeemen, and currently we have 8 conservatives in those slots and are reaching out to find three more.) Arizona has about 1,300 precincts, with 724 in Maricopa County. We now have about about 2,700 precinct committeeman with only about a third of the total slots filled.

So, What Does One Have To Do To Become A Precinct Committeeman?

The requirements vary from state to state, but Arizona is typical. One has to get nor more than 10 registered Republican or independent voters from their precinct to sign a nomination form requesting that their name be placed on the primary ballot. (In Ohio, for example, one needs only 5 signatures.) Most precinct committeemen run unopposed. I was able to get my ten signatures in fewer than 45 minutes on a Saturday. As suggested by the existing PCs, I got five extra signatures just to be safe (people move!). Before gathering your signatures, the Party will give you a computer print out “walking sheet” showing where all the voters in your precinct live. And how often they voted in the last four elections. You go to the homes of those voters who ALWAYS vote. They will be happy to sign your nomination papers. It’s fun. In 2008, I took my impressionable then-eight year-old boys along. A great, real-life civics lesson.  Now, ten years later, both of them are precinct committeemen.

Because most precinct committeemen run unopposed, most counties, to save money, get the parties to agree that all non-contested precinct committeeman candidates be omitted from the ballot to save printing costs. That’s one reason why most voters don’t know about the office of precinct committeeman. Another reason: public schools no longer teach Civics.

So, what to do? About 200,000 precinct committeemen slots nationwide in the Republican Party are vacant. Hmmm. The NRA has about 4 million members. Think we could get some of them to become Republican Party precinct committeemen? Or Federalist Society members? Tea Partiers? SmartGirlPolitics-ers? 9.12-ers? SarahPAC members? Or other Constitution-loving folks?

If our existing elected Republican Party leaders will not respect our Constitution, then we must kick them out of office and replace them. It’s a pure numbers game. The more Constitution-respecting conservatives that join the precinct committeeman ranks, the more Constitution-respecting, and conservative, the leadership will be. And then, that conservative, Constitution-respecting leadership will endorse the candidate in the primary who is most faithful to the Constitution.

Is this all new to you? Why? Think about it. I was taught all of this in Civics in seventh grade in my public school in 1968. (I grew up in a rural county in the Midwest in the Sixties and early Seventies – we learned this stuff and saw its implementation first-hand.) Plus, I had the benefit of having a great dad (an Army veteran of Korean War vintage), who was a city councilman, county board member and county board chairman (among other public offices), and he taught me all of this early in life. And I had a couple of uncles who were involved in party politics. One was a mayor of a small town (he drove a truck from Normandy Beach to Berlin and fought in the Battle of the Bulge), the other a dairy farmer and rural town clerk. Their highest academic degree was a high school diploma. Back when that meant something. They are at the top of my list of heroes.

  1. I found your link on redstate.com and wanted to thank you for bringing this to light. I for one had no idea what a precinct committeeman was and think this is the key to taking back the Republican Party! I have already contacted my party leadership for my county. Unfortunately, my precinct is not open, but I will keep in touch with them so that I can hopefully take this position next time it is open. I will also keep in touch with the lady who is the precinct committeeman now to see if she needs any help. I am also a part of a local activist group and brought this up to the members tonight at our meeting and gave them the information. Thanks again! Great information!

    1. Thanks. It’s been ten years and virtually no positive changes have happened. Most conservatives prefer to be on a soap box rather than learning how to use the ballot box. Easy to spout off on the net day after day. Becoming an effective precinct committeeman helping to increase the number of conservatives in the precinct committeeman ranks and getting more of the lower information, lower propensity conservative voters to the polls takes actual out-of-a-chair effort and action. Oh well.

        There’s a reason why Democrats/progressives act and are far more successful than Republicans/conservatives. This is so simple and easy to understand that you will be floored that you haven’t thought of it.
        YOU. are honest, and receive basically nothing for your political work.
        THEY are criminals, or at least grifters, who will receive some type of PALPABLE financial remuniation, be it illicit cash or a cushy paying job — probably with a marvelous pension.

        Now WE can’t do that, can we?

        However, the fact remains that for US, the solution — now necessary for the existence of our Republic — is that we must set things up so that All of our people will be able to reap some existential, tangible financial and social benefit in exchange for time and energy they spend working for our mutual good.

        ABSENT this, you don’t need a ouija board to understand that nothing will change and we will ALL be spaded under.

        HOW will we accomplish this? How can Conservatives-Nationalists-Populists-Patriots-Freedom Lovers-Americans and Republicans secure for ourselves and our people the means to receive LEGITIMATE payment (as described above) for our political/social efforts? In a way that almost everyone will find doable, agreeable, simple, and even fun?

        PLUS, how will we do this at the local (PRECINCT) level?

        All that is needed is to network with family, friends, and neighbors and emulate the old time settlers, the Amish, or the old Granger organisations and use a simple template organization structure at the local level — something that will blend block watch; home schooling; co-op buying; gardening; seed & plant exchange; tradesman and business discounts; “barn raisings;” pot-luck dinners; swap-meets, and so on, such that each individual and family involved can receive at least several hundred dollars worth of “Value” added to their lives every year.

        This will work with synergy, as well, for example a local painting contractor and some group members paint the widow’s house with materials donated by the hardware store, matching money raised by a picnic and raffle, or whatever.

        This plan also assures the growth real communities that will COLONIZE the current American social wasteland of atomized, disconnected individuals who hardly know folks living two doors down the street.

        This plan is loosely known as “People Like US,” and a brief template pamphlet has been put together, to be passed out via GAB.

        HOWEVER, nothing need be set in stone and different groups may find that certain things work better for them, or they may — and will — come up with imprevements. People of good sense won’t even need a pamphlet for instructions!

        Reading your Precinct Project this afternoon just showed me one huge improvement: make party precincts or wards an important part of the plan, so thank you and let’s MAGA!

  2. I am very interested in becoming a PC, but I may have just taken myself out of the running. I have always been a registered republican, but in the last few years I have really become disgusted with the leadership of the republican party. The nomination of John McCain finally broke the camels back!! I recently went to the registrar of voters and changed my affiliation to “declines to state”. I guess since I’m not a registered republican now I would not be considered. Would that be correct?

    1. Yes, you will need to re-register as a Republican voter to be eligible to become a voting member of the Republican Party.

  3. I understand your feelings about the nomination of McCain but that is all the more reason to become a PC and work at getting conservatives in positions of leadership! This is the ONLY way we are going to take our party back! So re-register as a Republican, find out what district and precinct you are in, become a PC and help to make changes! You can’t make them by being an “undeclared” voter.

    It’s up to us to change it!

  4. I have become familiar with this through http://www.wagthedog2010.com and was prepared to do it. However, it seems the R party is not sincere in changing it’s platform, repent for their wayward actions in the last 25 years (or more). Until they straighten up and define themselves the original conservative party of ole’ I will not walk streets, make phone calls and carry water for the lets make big government BIGGER party! I am still a republican and holding on by a thread, praying they will change their ways!

    1. You have it completely backwards. The Party will — or will not — change depending upon who is IN it to MAKE it change. If YOU want the Party to change, then YOU have to become part of it. And recruit others who think like you to do the same. Go read the articles again. YOU need to become part of the “they” you refer to.

        AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham Goes Rogue!

        If you are a precinct committeeman, you will be attending your Reorganization meetings the next couple of weeks (some of you have already been to yours) and you may be wondering why AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham sent out a message to ALL Legislative District Republican Committee Chairmen that they needed to keep these meetings open to meet the Open Meetings law. WHAT???
        Most Chairs are pretty astute and they asked the same question: What are you talking about???
        Legislative Districts are NOT government agencies that come under open meetings laws. They are private “clubs” that meet in private locations that they pay for. No public monies are used to run these districts. Legislative District Committees are not even connected to the State Party or the State Party Chairman. They come under the respective County parties around the state. So this message about having to come under open meetings laws was a clear irrelevant message.
        Some districts complied completely. Some closed their doors to all except those who were supposed to be there – precinct committeemen duly elected, officials required for the exercise of the election of officers and state committeemen and those PCs who needed assistance for some valid reason. Period! And some districts let in a few extra folks to avoid a conflict with…. who?

        Who would really care who is at these meetings outside of the PCs involved

        Senator John McCain.

        If you are a chairman of a district and you fell for the “open meetings law” lie, you have been scammed. Senator McCain issued this mandate to Chairman Graham who willingly, and erroneously, complied. Why? The “good” Senator is holding a grudge over the censure by Precinct Committeemen and State Committeemen across the state last January. Why was McCain censured in the first place? For a perfectly good reason. McCain has long since forgotten his place. He works for US, the voters and CITIZENS of Arizona. NOT the illegal residents here. NOT the leadership in Washington, DC. NOT special interests and foreign dignitaries. US!

        McCain, through paid surrogates in Arizona, spent about $250,000 through his PAC registered in Virginia to unseat conservative Precinct Committeemen across the state with some success. The force of the message from Chairman Graham, sent, no doubt, at the behest and pressure of Senator McCain, was to allow McCain surrogates to crash district meetings to try to prevent conservatives from getting elected to State Committeeman status.

        Team members from AFA have personally witnessed this. A little guy from McCain’s Twerp Brigade and a nasty PC being paid, we’ve been told, $10,000 per month, are going to those districts that are conservative or mostly conservative to intimidate district officials. BEWARE: they are taking proxies away from credentials committees and rifiling through them to see who carried which proxies, going through sign in sheets to find out the names of those in attendance, making claims and demands that certain proxies are illegal when they are not, doing anything they can to subvert the normal process.

        DON’T BE FOOLED!! They have no rights at your meeting. Don’t let them in!!! They are working against anyone perceived to be a conservative. McCain will run for the Senate again and he needs to keep Graham in place to facilitate his desires. That is why the intimidation of conservatives leaders at the district level.

        These district meetings DO NOT COME UNDER OPEN MEETINGS LAWS!

  5. Yes, I intend to do this. It seems my local County Republican Party is energized by my enthusiasm. I have found several expressing an interest in this.   7. First we need to organize the organizers. We are asking people to commit to be Precinct Officials, but offering them inadequate back up, and back office support. They will not be able to do what we ask of them unless WE first organize ourselves, in order to equip them to win. How say you all????

We are still a christian nation and have to continue to do our part to rid our country of those with socialistic agendas.     You have seen the email blasts urging you to do THE ONE THING that will bring measurable results toward bringing back and establishing liberty and freedom in this country.

    Some……..of you are beginning to ask questions and that’s a good thing.

    (Don’t worry about being stubborn, it took me from January to December to comprehend how powerful the office of a precinct chairperson is.)

    The Benefits Of Being a Precinct Chairperson:
    1. You never have to argue with a liberal hypocrite, ever again, because we the conservatives numbered @ 41% of the demographic have the largest voting block, consistently, year after year. The liberals have 21% of the demographic and the moderates have 23%.

    So all you need to do to in order to win the primary for Medina, is to secure the distribution of factual information to the primary voters in your precinct, highlighting the failed hypocritical faux “conservative” policies of Rick Perry vs. the real objectives that will liberate Texas from property taxes and nullification of the Federal Healthcare overreach as planned by Debra Medina.

    The real benefit? Texans win liberty and freedom from property taxes and run away spending of the 10’s of billions of dollars that Rick Perry put us in debt for in his 10 year term.

    The sacrifice? You won’t have time to attend a Tea Party meeting and argue over what might……..MIGHT be successful.

    The cost? About the price* of a restaurant meal for two (2), for each simple but factual precinct group of mailers or door hangers.

    *That cost is an approximate calculation by figuring that there are only about 1/4 of precinct voting in the primary: 1/4th of 200 – 500 voters in any given precinct equals: 50 – 125 people/flyers x the cost of paper and stamps.

    Benefit #2.

    I am a member of TPN and read your GREAT post – Own it.
    Now, I want to share with you what we’ve done in northwestern Minnesota – yes, the land of Al Franken…
    Two years ago I convinced a couple of friends to join me in getting a TEA group going. Since then, they’ve been accepted into membership on our Republican county committee. I’ve served on that committee for over 10 years as secretary, but last February I won the Chair seat (without even really running) I had been asked by the Chair of the 7th Congressional District to run against the RINO deputy chair and I won THAT seat, as well.
    Seven of the 10 counties in northwestern MN are chaired by TEA Party Republicans. We have made huge progress in rooting out the RINOs and we are proof that it can be done. People simply have to get off the couch!
    All but two of the 7th CD executive board members are TEA partiers, and they are on their way out in the next party election. Our sights are now set on unelecting Colin Peterson and Amy Klobuchar.
    Onward to Victory in 2012!

  18. Thank you for doing this! I have taken the first steps by calling my local (New York county) Board of Elections and expressing my interest. The director put me in touch with my local town committee chair who I met with yesterday. He said he will send my name in as an appointment (which he’s allowed to do with open seats) but he wants me to circulate petitions and get on the ballot.

    Petitions will be released June 6th with lists of all registered voters. Then I’ll be able to hit the ground running. Except for petition time (a few crazy weeks a year) meetings are minimal, usually around quarterly.

    It’s going to be nice to be engaged in the process.

      I don’t believe there’s any time limit. As far as I know, in the vast majority of states, the state statutes, typically the Election Code, govern the formation of the political parties and set forth general requirements regarding who may participate within them as “voting members.” In the vast majority of the states, you must be a registered voter of a particular party to be a precinct committeeman or to participate in the voting at caucus meetings. Find you local party committee meeting and go to it and don’t be bashful about asking questions. Meanwhile, try to obtain copies of your state’s election code, your party’s state, county and local bylaws, and read them. Also call your local party or local elected officials and ask them if they can provide you with an overview of how their party operates. Ask if they have a precinct committeeman handbook.

I was a committeewoman in my small town when I first moved there (I had connnected with our State Rep because I worked at the Capitol). I was in for one term and was completely turned off when they INSISTED we had to support Arlen Specter (PA) for another term. It turned my stomach. There were plenty of us that did not want to, but we were “instructed” that we had to give our support to the candidate the President (then Bush Jr) was supporting. I finished my term and quit. I didn’t want to be a party hack. With things changing the way they are, I just might have enough other people supporting the truly CONSERVATIVE candidates to get somewhere. DAMMIT, I just found that the deadline was 8/1. Oh well, at least I can call the county committee and see if I can volunteer to help candidates.

    That statement from Washington was completely ignorant of history and blatantly lacking in logic.

    It first assumes morality came from religion, which is incorrect (the first seed of written morality came from the Code of Hammurabi, which appears to be based largely on the pursuits of justice, not religion.) It then avers that those without religion have no morals. If you need me to explain why this statement is wrong, you are most likely incapable of thinking for yourself and have been for some time.

    I suppose those quoting that would also assume the Chinese people have no morals? Of course they assume this without ever having worked with one as well. It’s easy to make assumptions with the lights turned off.

    I myself am void of religion, but not of morals (defined as a distinction between right and wrong.) As a physicist, I work with several other Atheists (and Chinese) all of which participate in discussions of freedom, politics, religion, and morality.

    I advice you remove that utterly irrelevant and insulting quote from your article and replace it with something of value. I would suggest a quote from Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson is inarguably the founding father that embodies the modern liberty movement best.

  24. I am a Precinct Chairman in the state of North Carolina. Our state just became fully Republican (conservative and establishment Republicans together). The Republicans in North Carolina have control of both the Assembly and the Senate with a Republican governor for the first time in 146 years.
    Since we have an illegal, alien, communist person in control of the White House and a House of Representatives that does not follow the Constitution and the basic principle of the “Rule of Law” it is critically important we maintain control at the state level until we regain control of the Federal Executive Branch.

    If you are a precinct committeeman, you will be attending your Reorganization meetings the next couple of weeks (some of you have already been to yours) and you may be wondering why AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham sent out a message to ALL Legislative District Republican Committee Chairmen that they needed to keep these meetings open to meet the Open Meetings law. WHAT???
    Most Chairs are pretty astute and they asked the same question: What are you talking about???
    Legislative Districts are NOT government agencies that come under open meetings laws. They are private “clubs” that meet in private locations that they pay for. No public monies are used to run these districts. Legislative District Committees are not even connected to the State Party or the State Party Chairman. They come under the respective County parties around the state. So this message about having to come under open meetings laws was a clear irrelevant message.
    Some districts complied completely. Some closed their doors to all except those who were supposed to be there – precinct committeemen duly elected, officials required for the exercise of the election of officers and state committeemen and those PCs who needed assistance for some valid reason. Period! And some districts let in a few extra folks to avoid a conflict with…. who?

    Who would really care who is at these meetings outside of the PCs involved

    Senator John McCain.

    If you are a chairman of a district and you fell for the “open meetings law” lie, you have been scammed. Senator McCain issued this mandate to Chairman Graham who willingly, and erroneously, complied. Why? The “good” Senator is holding a grudge over the censure by Precinct Committeemen and State Committeemen across the state last January. Why was McCain censured in the first place? For a perfectly good reason. McCain has long since forgotten his place. He works for US, the voters and CITIZENS of Arizona. NOT the illegal residents here. NOT the leadership in Washington, DC. NOT special interests and foreign dignitaries. US!

    McCain, through paid surrogates in Arizona, spent about $250,000 through his PAC registered in Virginia to unseat conservative Precinct Committeemen across the state with some success. The force of the message from Chairman Graham, sent, no doubt, at the behest and pressure of Senator McCain, was to allow McCain surrogates to crash district meetings to try to prevent conservatives from getting elected to State Committeeman status.

    Team members from AFA have personally witnessed this. A little guy from McCain’s Twerp Brigade and a nasty PC being paid, we’ve been told, $10,000 per month, are going to those districts that are conservative or mostly conservative to intimidate district officials. BEWARE: they are taking proxies away from credentials committees and rifiling through them to see who carried which proxies, going through sign in sheets to find out the names of those in attendance, making claims and demands that certain proxies are illegal when they are not, doing anything they can to subvert the normal process.

    DON’T BE FOOLED!! They have no rights at your meeting. Don’t let them in!!! They are working against anyone perceived to be a conservative. McCain will run for the Senate again and he needs to keep Graham in place to facilitate his desires. That is why the intimidation of conservatives leaders at the district level.

  29. I am from Kentucky and was unaware of a precinct committeeman or precinct captain as I think my State calls it. We are furious with Mitch Mcconnell, as well as other Republican leaders in our state. We are ready to rid ourselves of these RINOS. I have pissed off my county Republican Party and they will not tell me, nor can I find on the website when the next election or meeting to vote in this precinct position. I believe this group will help me and others to learn what needs to be done to get our Party back in line.

    I went to the OCPF website and it shows that my town and county republican committee’s are inactive and have been since 2015. Is it common for towns and counties to have committees go inactive and for years at a time? What would you suggest for someone in this situation?

      If no vacancy exists currently, volunteer to be a “helper” for your existing precinct committeemen. Learn as much as you can. Or your county or local committee has any kind of tutorial on how, step-by-step, to become a precinct committeeman.
      If that doesn’t work, call/email any and all elected Republican public servants and ask them to help you – it’s their job and they work for you.

  34. Great information and much needed direction for our party. We must work from the ground up to ensure the elections will not be stolen again. If we have solid people in place from local levels up it will strengthen not only the movement but the integrity of our elections.

      Thanks for reaching out. First, go to http://www.ThePrecinctProject.wordpress.com. See on the right side (on a computer; if you are on a smart phone, scroll to the very bottom and click on View Full Site”) what is there for your state. Then, find your county Republican Committee on the internet. They should have a website or a Facebook page. Contact them. Find out what precinct you reside in. And whether there’s a vacancy. Sometimes county elections departments publish this online. Or the county Republican committee does. Find out which county or more local committee exists that you can participate in as a precinct committeeman.

  37. Why are they pushing the Precinct Committee project when the vote is rigged? NOTHING we do will get who WE THE PEOPLE want elected as long as they are now allowed to rigged the elections. They will have ballots waiting in the wings to flip the vote to the left in every office local, state and federal. Work your butt off as a Precinct person and then they steal the election. Really, how out of touch are these people? By 2022 election fraud will be legalized via federal law. The Republicans in office today in the 6 swing states did NOTHING to stop the fraud. They gave a lot of false lip sevice.

    I like so many Conservatives have been very frustrated and extremely unhappy with our current situation with the Democratic Party. I have been searching for a place where I can actually help to do something ( ACTION ) rather than just ranting on social media. I am buying a car next month and I plan to participate in this action and do whatever I have to to ensure our Constitution and our freedom and our rights do not dissolve in the hands of the evil ones that are trying to bring in their agenda.   41. Thank you Dan for getting the ball rolling on this project. I have been politically active for over 4 decades, since before Agenda 21 was so named.
    After seeing you last year on WarRoom, I sought out my local Republican Central Committee in Ravalli County Montana. After attending a couple of meeting and speaking my mind I was recruited to run to represent my precinct.
    Since then, many PRO-America First precinct representatives have joined.
    Today my beautiful wife has joined me and I am Chairman of the Rules committee tasked with rewriting the rules governing our county RCC. It has been interesting “stirring the pot” realizing the number of Anti-America First representatives are on the board. The vote on the rules committee final report will show if the Pro America folks hold a majority.
