  1. In my opinion most people in our congress (Democrats and Republicans) are much more interested in their own personal and political advancement (wealth and power) than in representing the citizens of this nation.
I am embarassed to have been a member of the Republican Party, and have recently registered as an Independant.
The ONLY way to improve government is to REPLACE almost every elected member of both parties from the president, US Senate & House, to State and local governments.

    1. Thanks for your comments.
HOW do you propose to accomplish your solution of REPLACING almost every elected member of both parties?
      I hope you’ll become a precinct committeeman!
      Thank you.

    2. We must become the voice of the people and be willing to do something to change things. We can change our affiliation but if we are not actively doing something to change the system… we are only a talking head. I hope you are getting involved in making a difference by talking to your neighbors, friends, and family and rallying them to help make changes by calling their representatives with legislation you are for or against. I hope you are sharing information with others that you believe is critical and is affecting our country in negative ways. Are you doing something to help change what is broken?

    3. That may be a general idea, but We the People are waking up w/what’s affecting their own families, beginning w/at Public (government) Schools, + the School Board. One just changed that they no longer wants to recite the Pledge of Allegiance because the capital “G” is the GOD of Judeo-Christians & they claim does not include Buddhism or Islamic gods, although they fail to mention “with liberty and justice for ALL.” The Republican Party is necessary because we are a REPUBLIC, not democracy. We need to stand our ground & read the Republican Platform & compare it to all the others & bingo! Wake Up & make it stronger, not weaker by going to other political affiliations. We must unite for the well being of our nation, not move away because of “personal ideas” which would cause losing the votes to remove the corrupt politicians in DC. Please, join us in the fight for our rights created by our Founding Fathers.

    1. Yes, Tom Jenney and Americans for Prosperity are doing are GREAT job! Thanks for your comment and I hope you’ll become a precinct committeeman!

  2. Okay seriously, how do I start? I clicked the link for maracopia county and it gave me a 404 error page.

I want to become involved, I just recently lost my temp job, so I have time on my hands. What can I do?

  3. By George, I never heard of this. So that’s the secret? Become a precinct committeeman. I always wondered how the people on the ballet we voted for got on there. Like who in heck gave us John McCain to vote for?

  4. Monica, Anyone can run for office under any party they choose. PCs make a difference in which candidates get support from the Republican Party. For example, in 2008 the County Party endorseded Russell Pearce over Jeff Flake’s brother-in-law and moderate clone, Kevin Gibbons. They endorsed Sam Crump and Carl Seel over McCain wing candidate, Tony Bouie.

So, both are newcomers, Bouie and Seel. Seel could promote that he had the Party endorsement and Bouie did not. Seel won and has been a great conservative champion for us in the legislature.

Why did we get those conservative endorsements from the Party? Because enough conservative PCs showed up to the last Party Officer elections and elected conservative Party Officers.

This whole thing could very easily go the other way. Moderate Party Officers could easily outnumber the conservative Party Officers–then we would have McCain-like candidates at every level.

Like Cold Warrior says…become a PC and vote for conservative Party Officers. As a PC you vote on behalf of 125 Republicans in your neighborhood. So, it’s 125 times more powerful than your current office–Voter.

  5. I want to recommend the book, “Rules For Republican Radicals” which is avaialble at book stores and through Amazon.

It explains how the liberals have used the teachings of Saul Alinsky to take over the political process. But more importantly, it explains precint power and how people can take control of their own communities and the political process on a state and national level through precints.

Anyone interested in precint power should check it out. You can also find out more at http://www.RepublicanRadical.com

    Good luck
    Joelle

  6. Just turned in my petition last Monday along with three others I convinced to do the same. You are right. I have posted a link to this page on my facebook pages. Thank you for explaining the process so well. I am embarrassed to admit I didn’t even know what a Precinct Committeeman was a year ago. No one ever taught me this in school or at home! You can bet my kids are going to know.
    Thanks again.

    1. Mynita,
Bravo! If we can get thousands and thousands of people in very community across the country to do this we WILL BE ABLE TO take this country back. Keep recruiting!

  7. Two days ago I didn’t know what it was. Last night I attended my first tea party meeting, and signed up to become a PC. They did a good job of explaining the whole process, much as it reads above. I got lucky, today was the deadline to file in my state.

    1. Bravo! Thanks for getting off the sidelines and into the real ball game of politics. This is how we will take our country back!

  8. I never herd of this either. It would be nice to be able to actually have some influence on who our candidates are. I live in CT and used the CT link on the website. It seems like they do everything differently in CT – I really could not figure out how to become a PC – they don’t even use that term – don’t use precinct captain either. D

  9. Its such as you learn my mind! You seem to grasp a lot
about this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something.

I believe that you can do with a few p.c. to pressure the message house a little bit, however other than that, this is magnificent
blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.

  10. Just became precinct chair in my area. Do you have any suggestions on how to get people to come to the meetings. What works best? Flyers, door to door, social media? any suggestions?

    1. Kevin,
Sorry, I only just now saw your question. All of those are great ideas. I try to go to where conservatives gather and ask for a few minutes to speak about the Precinct Committeeman Strategy and explain the how and why of becoming a precinct committeeman. I have a recruitment flyer I use. We also identify and survey the Republicans in our precincts where there are vacancies. We survey those who always vote and who are in the 40 – 65 year range as we figure they are most likely to have the time to spend on becoming a PC. We survey their attitudes about issues and the Party to try to identify the conservatives. If they get the “right” answers, then we pitch them on becoming a PC and the power it gives them.
      I hope this helps.

  11. I believe the people in charge of counting the early ballots are doing the dirty deeds ..tossing rep votes in the trash need to have camera watching and total visual oversite at every polling place. Republicans won the house. I know it. Proof look at AZ outcome . that was no way. Fix that and illigal aliens and deceased from voting. That is how we get back to making America right again. Foolproof voting

    1. Elizabeth, I will forward your inquiry to Marian Sheridan. She will contact you and get you to the right committee to get involved. Thanks! Dan

  12. Dan:

I went to my local Republican county office and inquired about becoming a PC. I was told that I needed to go to a breakfast to get to know people. I was also told there was a vacancy in my district. I went to the breakfast of only 6 people and it was like not a meeting at all. I called the lady in charge at the Republican office and she said that she had just recently met with the lady in charge of our county but that I was not discussed. She said I needed to get with a Republican nominee and knock on doors promoting the Republican running in the upcoming election. She never mentioned any monthly meeting. It felt to me that she wanted to leave well enough alone. I was astonished that I got nowhere with my inquiry. I have a great Republican pedigree, 100% voting record, a Heritage Foundation Sentinel and supporter of Hillsdale’s Charter schools.

    1. They want you to give up and go away. Don’t. Double-down. Go find as many people like you as you can and get all of them to follow your lead and join the committee. Learn the ropes and eventually run for the elected position of precinct committeeman. All of you. And more. All of you need to become recruiting machines. Thanks, Dan

  13. I went to your site and found who my county Chairperson is and wrote and email asking for time of next meeting and that I was willing to learn and then help. I was contacted by text earlier this year, but got nowhere that time. I’m trying again to see if I can get to the meeting as go from there. I live in Georgia.
    Thanks,
    Anna

    1. Keep at it. Don’t give up. Contact every elected Republican near you and every “conservative” running for office and ask them to help you. If they won’t, or can’t, then ask them why they think you ought to support them if they won’t help you. I hope this helps. Thanks, Dan

  14. I have attempted to contact our Republican Party Committee and ask when meetings were held. Had to give e-mail address and would send notification. Received notification of meeting at a coffee house for SOCIAL meeting just recently. Apparently don’t have monthly meetings.
Do to recent re-districting our district will be merged with another. I have no idea what’s going on but it sure IS the Republican Party alright. No one knows what’s going on.

  15. Dan, I have an error when I submit a email thorough your contact link. Here is my question that I cannot get input:

Hi Dan, Through your program I joined the Orange County CA precinct as a city precinct member. I’ve learned on Warroom that the redistricting of Orange County (OC) may have some problems in that the independent commission is favoring Democrats and we may loose several Republican Congress Districts in a conservative district. My questions are:

    1) How do I help influence the redistricting decision; and
    2) What is the procedure to influence the OC Republican Party involvement with the redistricting decision? We do not have any meeting scheduled to develop a strategy to address this issue.

I am acquainted for many years with the OC Precinct leader, Raymond Gennaway, but I am not convinced he is correctly addressing this issue. What can I do to insure we are doing all we can to address this matter.

I wish you and yours a happy New Year!

    B/R

    1. Contact all of your Republican state legislators. Ask them to help you. Thanks for getting into the fray. Dan

  16. 2 months ago I was put in charge of election information, for a grassroots group bringing education to the people locally, when, a conversation started about some people involved in Precinct Stategy, I questioned the information, dug a lil deeper, and understand now how this is the mechanism to right the ship, the people in our current Central Committee dont understand the power they wield, and through the process of digging deeper we will be presenting to our CC the Precinct Strategy, I am not a PC, however, I have been attending these CC mtgs for 7mo. before hearing and learning about Precinct Strategy, and can tell you I will be running for the seat in my precinct. Its time people get involved. Thanks ColdWarrior, any info you can pass my way would be appreciated.
    Im in this fight!

  17. I was involved in the Trump Victory Team knocking doors and making phone calls state wide. Back in 2020. After the election I saw an ad for Becoming a Precinct Committeeman on TPUSA. I filled out the form. Never Heard back from them. Luckily I am good friends with the Mayor of Hanover PA I messaged her and told her that tried to become a Precinct Committeeman filled out the form but never heard back.
She told me to contact Scott Roland the 169 District Captian. I did and with in a few weeks I was appointed and I came highly recommended by the Mayor and now I’m 2nd in charge as Vice chair of 169. I learned more about Precinct Committeeman from your book That you wrote and your YouTube videos. Now I have recruited 1 new person to the committee possibly few more.
Since I’ve became a Precinct Committeeman I have made voter calls in my Township, sent out GOTV postcards and been a poll watcher.
Even created my own website http://www.FirebrandConservative. WordPress.com

  19. I tried to go to a meeting last year but was intimidated away. This morning I sent an email, as requested in the online ad for GOP Republican Precinct Committee Meeting for which I received a response:

    1. It was an interrogation because they had been having some trouble with attacks by unruly people – especially at school board meetings.
    2. I am finally welcomed to join the meeting Wednesday night.

    3. I was told by the Chairman, Robert Updegrave, that he was unsure which district I was in, residing at the south end of Flagler Beach, FL. But that was okay because they have one meeting for all three districts: 33, 35 and 37, and I was surely in one of them.

    4. I am looking for some encouragement or what to expect or what I should know before I get there.

    1. Thanks for getting involved. I hope you have gone back to my site and started reading and watching the videos and looking at and reading the Florida materials I link to. Thanks again, Dan

  20. Last fall I got involved, attended a couple of meetings and when our local caucus was held became a PCP. I’ve attended several meetings including, district but was unable to attend the state assembly because of illness. Our group is very unorganized. How can I step in to right things without stepping on the toes of the person leading the group? For instance in our last meeting there were several new people wanting to know how to help but no guidance came from our leader. This is the first time I have been involved and am no better than our leader but I hate to see new faces come wanting never to return because of lack of leadership.

    1. I don’t know how best to proceed as I am not there and do not know the people. You are free to do whatever you like. The people elected to officer positions are not your “leaders,” they are your servants. If they won’t serve the PCPs, then you should do it quietly. I hope this helps. Thanks.

    1. With what? I provide a roadmap on my site re how to locate your local Republican committee and then contact it. Thanks, Dan
